The world is a lot right now.
Conflict. Injustice. Ecological grief. The slow unravelling of things we thought were solid. If you are someone who pays attention — really pays attention — you are probably carrying more than you realise. In your chest. In your jaw. In the way you wake at 3am. In the way it's getting harder to make decisions, to feel joy, to be fully present.
This is not a personal failing. This is a collective experience — and your nervous system is doing exactly what nervous systems do when they are asked to hold too much for too long.
Anchor in the Storm is a 6-week online somatic movement series that helps you find your ground again.
Each week, we'll move through a different layer of what it means to stay present in these times — discharging accumulated stress, rebuilding inner safety, finding the felt sense of agency that gets lost when the world feels out of control.
The work is body-led, somatically guided. Facilitated with clinical depth, held in a warm and non-clinical space. You don't need experience or to be well, sorted or ready. Everyone moves differently here — small movements are as valid as large ones. What matters is listening to your body, not performing for anyone. You just need to show up.
What people experienced in our opening sessions:
Calm. Grounded. Peaceful. Released. Connected.
"I really felt the draining energy getting pushed out of my boundary. Tangible release." — Sandra
"Surprised how releasing moving my head and neck was." — Caroline
"Not as armour just as ME. — I felt so much more connected to me and loving towards myself." — Juzzy
"In this time of chaos there is so much confusion around where our authority and definition lies. Something like this — getting to know who we really are, finding ourselves rather than being led by the noise outside — this is vital work." — Briony
Session Themes
Session 1 — The Body as Sanctuary: Establishing safety when the world feels unsafe
Session 2 — Shaking Off the Noise: Discharging tension from chronic alertness and media overwhelm
Session 3 — Rooting in the Present: Moving from hypervigilance to ground
Session 4 — Listening to the Inner Voice: Distinguishing anxiety from intuition
Session 5 — Compassion Without Collapse: Staying open-hearted without absorbing everything
Session 6 — Reclaiming Agency: From helplessness to choice — your personal anchor practices
Each session builds on the last — moving from safety and discharge, through grounding and inner listening, toward open-hearted presence and reclaimed agency. This is not a curriculum to get through. It's a journey your body leads. Each session runs for 60 minutes on Zoom, followed by optional integration time — to share, ask questions, or simply sit with what moved through you.
Between sessions, you'll have access to our private Skool community, where I share inspiration, resources, and reflections to support your journey between Zooms. This is where the series comes alive between sessions.
Soul Dance at Epicure Ecstatic Dance Retreat
18-20 September 2026
Kurrajong / Blue Mountains
I’ll be facilitating Soul Dance as part of Epicure’s Ecstatic Dance Retreat, held 18-20 September.
Alongside plenty of dancing, we’ll be immersed in nature and nourished through yoga, workshops, shared meals, and spacious moments to rest and reconnect — with ourselves, each other, and the land. I’m really looking forward to bringing Soul Dance into this wild and nourishing container.
